What is the baggage policy of Saudi Airlines?
When you are traveling with Saudi Airlines and start to prepare for the journey, then you must pack the luggage, which is one of the prominent parts of traveling. - The minimum weight of the checked bag with Saudi Airlines is 23 kg, and the maximum is 32 kg. This depends on the class and fare type you have chosen for the journey.
- The number of pieces you can carry for free depends on the ticket you have booked.
- The size of your luggage should not be more than 158 cm or 62 inches, and if the bag crosses that limit, you have to pay the extra bag fee.
- Bags should be packed properly and not tied with ropes and wires as it can affect other bags and damage them. The airline will not accept such bags at the time of check-in.
- Hand Luggage: This is the carry-on luggage that will be allowed for you to bring to the flight. Make sure you include all the items in these bags that might be required during the flight:
- The airline allows you to bring the hand luggage with 7 kg of weight and it can only exceed from 9 to 12 kg.
- The size dimensions of your bag should be 56 X 45 X 25 cm, and if you exceed the limit, it may create a lot of trouble.
- It is necessary to follow the size dimensions as the bag needs to be placed in the overhead cabin.
- The bags should be handier and easy to carry so you do not face any inconveniences.
- Personal Items: When traveling with the airline, you are free to bring one personal item with you and your hand luggage. It can be anything handier, and the list of such items is mentioned:
- You are permitted to bring one personal item with the carry-on bag.
- The personal items include a backpack, handbag, purse, laptop, books, cameras, binoculars, child safety seats, strollers, guitar or violin, or any small musical instrument that will be easy to handle during the journey.
- Prohibited Items: Various items are not permitted to be brought to the flight journey. These are the things that could be dangerous in any way for fellow passengers. The list of such items has been listed below:
- Any item that is dangerous in any way for the people around you will not be accepted.
- Syringes, knives, scissors, needles, or any other sharp object are prohibited to carry on the flight.
- If you are bringing any item because of some medical reason then you should inform the airlne beforehand and take permission.
- You are prohibited from traveling with harmful liquids and gases, toy guns, pistols, batons, or anything that could be a sign of danger.
